I sighed as I limped across the yard, getting bitten was not my plans; but I had to save Sophie. Even if she was my half-sister, but still: I couldn't believe I had gotten bit, after the zombie, or mutant to be exact. 'G' hated it when I called them by the 'Z' word.

But if he found out now, he'd probably search the ends of the earth for an antidote. He loved me… Mainly because I was his fiancé, which brought me to look at the wedding band around my finger: It was splotched with blood, my blood; all of it.

THoD Thomas Rogan Oneshot Part 1:
I readied my gun as Rogan shot the lock open, by the look of the doors; he had missed twice. And he growled in frustration as he reloaded his weapon. I studied the door dazedly as they swung open and I large zombie carrying a metal barrel stalked toward us.

"Holy Shit!" I cried as I stumbled back: right into G and he caught me before I could fall. Though; in surprise: I had pulled the trigger on the gun as it fired, I was sporting a Magnum now, "Jesus H. Christ, I'm on your side!" An off guard Rogan shouted as he gunned down the obese mutant.
